	1939-1968 style normal series plate. It could also be a younger remake, as numbers 1 - 99.935 are still reissued and made in the old style.
	1947-1978 diplomatic plate.
	1968-1979 normal series plates.
	An early 1979-1998 series plate. The series commenced with the letters YMA. The first batch of those plates had only "CANBERRA", but not "ACT" written on them. Then it was realized that the official territorial designation "ACT" is required by law. So these letters were squeezed in later.
	1979-1998 series plates with the letters ACT on them from the beginning.
