1964-1976 series plate. H = Ouahran, CT = foreign technician. This is a recycled French export plate. If you look carefully, you can see that it is embossed 5211-TTA75. The Algerian number was then simply painted over.
Post-1976 series temporary tourist plate. 88 = temporary tourist, 35 = Boumerdes (Code 35 in use since 1984).
Post-1976 non-diplomatic embassy staff plate. 66 = non-diplomatic embassy staff, 16 = El Djezair (Algiers).
Post-1976 non-diplomatic embassy staff plate. 66 = non-diplomatic embassy staff, 02 = Ech Cheliff. The one line version of this plate would read 7-66-02. This is because Arabic is read from right to left. Even though numbers are read from left to right, groups of numbers are still read starting with the rightmost group.
