	1956 - 1967 Egyptian Gaza truck plate. Egypt administered the Gaza Strip from 1948 to 1967 and issued plates similar to Egyptian plates during this time. However, the colors were different with truck plates being white on black.
	1987-1994 Israeli occupied West Bank plate. The Hebrew letter denotes the town, in this case Ramallah.
	1994 to 1997 Palestinian Authority plate. 1 = Gaza and Northern Gaza Strip, 1xxx = private vehicle, 41 = 1981 vehicle. In this first series the letter P was above the Arabic equivalent, and an embossed seal was used.
	1997 onwards Palestinian Authority plate. 4 = Jenin, Nablus, Qalqilya, Tulkaram. 73 = pre-1976 vehicle. In this series the letter P was moved below the Arabic, and there is now a security hologram.
